And yet, i got higher grades *Ack.. boasting! gets whacked with a hammer*... Well, well, well. I really might become a medtech very soon. Cross your fingers please

nyahahah, so the highest grade i got was 1.75 and the lowest is 2.50. Not bad, not bad. But, i do not feel that satisfied with these though... I want higher grades! Mag-aaral na nga ako... :D

I watched A cinderella story with my friends today. Finally, after a million times of persuation, i gave in. I don't really intend to watch it. "But what's to lose?", i thought as we entered the movie house. I can watch Bankok Haunted next time.

So, about the movie. All i can say that the plot was good, and the actors were okay. Well, except for hilary duff. Her acting wasn't really an award-winning one. So bite me if i react violently if i ever find out that she got an award for that kind of performance. I've watched some of her movies like Cadet Kelly, Lizzie Mcguire the Movie, A Cinderella Story& Casper meets wendy and all of her roles there were the same. She's always the geeky and part of the "lower" class, but in the end, she's always "prevails". All i can say is that she couldn't really give the impression that she's being another person in the movie. I mean, she couldn't give an identity to the character she's playing. Even though the girl she's portraying is named 'Sam', we see a girl named 'Hilary'. You get me?

I'm not really comparing, but i honestly think that Lindsay Lohan is better than Hilary. Look, can you find another girl who can be a rockstar, a twin, a geek, a detective, a mother and a drama queen and portray them naturally? After i've watched the Parent trap, i actually thought that lindsay really has a twin. While in the Lizzie Mcguire the movie, you could tell that Isabel (the pop princess that looked bizzarely the same as hilary) IS hilary duff. They just changed the color of her hair and made her speak with a french accent, which is, really not so french. She's not as versatile as Lindsay. She should just continue her Lizzie Mcguire act. Which is, very Hilary Duff.

Now let's go to the music scene. Hilary's songs aren't really that bad. I actually liked her So yesterday & Come Rain. But let me make it clear, She's not a rockchick! Those who say that she is disgrace the name of rock. Her songs are more like POP. And as for lindsay, her songs can be on the Pop and Rock category. Have you ever heard The Ultimate from the movie Freaky Friday? or That Girl (She even rapped there) from Confessions of a teenage drama queen? If you haven't yet, i'm sure you'll like them once you've heard them. But if you don't, well.. maybe we just don't have the same viewpoint when it comes to music.

Now, now. For all the Hilary Fans out there, i just wanted to say that i'm not being an anti-hilary here. I'm just stating my opinion about her. To tell you honestly, i'm a hilary fan too. But it only applies when i'm watching Lizzie Mcguire.

Oh, and lastly, Chad Michael Murray is such a hottie xD. He already worked with both hilary and lindsay. But i can say that hilary and chad looks better than lindsay and chad. I dunno why but lindsay deserved a much better leading guy. ;D

Fiscal Crisis. That's the shit we got in to now.

It's all over the country... no, worldwide. In the news, the papers, the radio. Even in tabloids. It never occured to me that we would reach up to this point. I've always thought that my beloved country would still be able to redeem it's glory -- and go back to when it was still looked up to by other asian countries. And now, this?

What the fuck is happening?

I've been hearing the cynics in my school saying, "Migrate na tayo, wala nang pag-asa dito sa lupang tinubuan natin". It's kind of painful, hearing my fellow youth mouthing those words. Yea, call me baduy but i'm a nationalistic bitch. We may be on shaky grounds right now but nothing is impossible as long as we help each other, right? None of this would've happened if the youthof today weren't so pessimistic to the thought that our motherland can still be resurrected from the so-called "Economic Death". Isn't the youth supposed to be the secret weapon our land has been keeping all these years? What happened? Was it our teachers who fed us the wrong information we've been gobbling up all these time, or is it the media we should blame?

I don't know the answer. Do you?

So, digging deep into the issue, what does a Fiscal Crisis mean? Well, nothing really. It just states that our funds is slowly deteriorating into mere crumbs. It meeaans, we are almost out of money A.K.A. we are in deep shit.

So how will this crisis affect us? Simple. Reduction of salary, increase in fare and the never-ending inflation. Napuno tayo ng utot. Instead of reduction of price in the market basket goods, we get an increase. Joy to the world. The government is even thinking of reducing mall hours and internet usage. Fuck, no way!.

How did the government officials react to this? Well, they volunteered to cut off their pork barrel*. Which is actually just a mere cent comparing to the value of the money they've already snucked out and is now sleeping soundly in their fat & green bank accounts.

Pork Barrel* - Some sort of an emergency loan for the government officials. So unfair no? Have you read or seen the news about the poor woman who sired quadruplets? And how she was kicked out of DSWD for attempting to ask for their help with regard to the health of her new born children? Aren't people like those be the ones who truly deserved emergency loans? I would love to rant more about it, but then again it would start out into another issue.

Sigh. I guess there's really nothing more we can do about it. Especially now that the breast of our mother country has already been sucked dry by the "leeches" in our government. What is left for us, the poor people in the buffet table that is monopolized by the rich?

Maybe we really should migrate now. I can almost hear Bush shouting, "Take Charge!", just like in the Nokia cellphone fashion squad commercial.
